Sometimes life redirects us through subtle awakenings rather than loud declarations. In the aftermath of the Covid pandemic—during a time marked by uncertainty, stillness, and recalibration—I experienced an unexpected shift: my sense of smell became heightened, almost insistent, as if asking me to listen more closely to the unseen.

What began as curiosity quickly deepened into study. I immersed myself in fragrance, alchemy, and the science of scent—exploring how aroma interacts with memory, emotion, cognition, and identity. I became fascinated not only by how scent recalls moments, but by how it may awaken deeper layers of the human experience—links between biology, consciousness, and heritage.

Today, through Rickey Barcelona, I work with thoughtfully sourced natural materials from around the world, crafting fragrances with intention and purpose. Each creation is designed as more than a sensory pleasure—it is an exploration. A composition meant to resonate, to ground, to elevate, and to leave an imprint beyond the moment it is worn.

My work now extends into research-driven inquiry, examining how specific aromatic molecules influence the brain and nervous system, and whether scent may activate pathways tied not only to memory, but to lineage and awareness itself.

Fragrance, to me, is not simply luxury—it is a language. One that speaks before words, lingers after moments pass, and connects us to something both personal and ancestral.
